Mee Chiet promoting agriculture sector in Svay Rieng province

On October 2, 2020, Mee Chiet contributed 150 packages of mixed vegetable seeds and 150 baby chicks to 30 farmers in Svay Rieng province to facilitate their living and to promote agriculture sector in the province.
Hong Sovann, Head of Human Resources of Mee Chiet, said, “As a local food company, Mee Chiet is established to facilitate the livelihood of Cambodian people and support the local food production. We are organizing this event to support these reasons, especially during the outbreak of COVID-19, which agriculture sector plays an important role.”
“We have selected a variety of vegetable seeds to distribute to the farmers,” he said. These seeds are all good seeds that will give high yields and the baby chicks are also all good breeds that have already been vaccinated against various diseases.”
Mrs. Soeng Sok Nou, representative of farmers in Svay Rieng province, thanked Mee Chiet for donating mixed vegetable seeds and baby chicks to them. She said that this distribution is helpful to the living of needy farmers and it improves the growth of family farming to a certain level and to be successful in the future.
Mee Chiet is a well-known local noodle product. Mee Chiet comes in three flavors – beef stew, minced pork, and chicken soup, which are produced by latest Japanese machines and technology.
