Mee Chiet paid a courtesy call to staff during Khmer New Year
Mee Chiet applied the government measures for not allowing staff to have the public holiday during Khmer New Year due to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19, as the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training announced.
Khmer New Year is an annual public holiday for Cambodians who expected to celebrate their time with the families. Concerned to the company’s decision possibly affecting the productivities and emotions of the staff, the Mee Chiet has released a video to apology and thank the staff for their cooperation.
Choeung Sokuntheavy, Executive Director of One More Limited said, “I would like to extend my apology to all staff who have been waiting for the annual occasion. Because this year, we are facing the global crisis, COVID-19; therefore, the company delayed and promised to find a suitable time to celebrate with all of you.”
She also thanked all staff of the company for their hard work over the past year to improve the quality and service of the product.
