Easy Tips for Wrapping a Monk Gift Package (Sadok)

“Sadok” is the Cambodian term refer to the bathing suit, as said in Khmer dictionary. In normal practice, this term refers to the gift package provided by Buddhists to the monk. In the package, it requires to have the bathing suit known as “Sadok” and other using materials.

The tradition to provide “Sadok” to the monk has happened for years and passed from one generation to the others in Cambodian living. This is a reason that Cambodian people popularly provide “Sadok” to the monk in any Buddhism ceremonies. In “Sadok”, it is prepared as a package which consists of daily using materials of the monk upon the ability of the providers.  The package is included with bathing suit, toothpaste, toothbrush tea, sugar, noodles, shoes and others.
