Three private companies organizing the largest blood donation in the last five months

Three private companies jointly organized the largest blood donation campaign in the last five months to collect blood for victims who are in need of blood, as the number of donors dwindles and the demand for blood increases.

One Fraternity Co., Ltd., N.V.C Corporation Co., Ltd., and One More Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in cooperation with the National Blood Transfusion Center of the Ministry of Health organized a campaign of Blood Donation at the morning on 30 June 2020, attended by approximately 150 staffs and company workers.

H.E. Chueng Sokuntheavy, an executive director of the three companies, said that the campaign aimed at boosting blood donations to help victims who are needing blood at hospitals. “Blood donation is the best way to save lives. This activity shows a great gift or merit,” she added.

“Today, we have collected 112 blood platelets, the largest blood donation in the last five months during the pandemic of Covid-19. There are 128 blood donors,” said Dr. Sok Po, director of the National Blood Transfusion Center.

Dr. Sok Po added that donating blood to save lives today is a meaningful topic for all of us. The National Blood Transfusion Center has recorded this important event and is grateful for support for humanitarian causes. And it calls for continued support.

H.E. Chueng Sokuntheavy also requested for staff, workers, and the public to understand more about blood donation and to donate blood voluntarily and happily to rescue victims.

Also, the three companies, N.V.C Corporation Co., Ltd., One More Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and One Fraternity Co., Ltd. have involved in many social and philanthropic activities, including charitable giving, sponsorship, and many other events.
